🌙 The Bedtime Post

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

The service

The Bedtime Post is a subscription that delivers an original, age-appropriate children's bedtime story by email each evening, personalized with the first name(s) you provide. Stories are created with the assistance of AI and reviewed by a human for approval before being used; they are delivered by email only — there is nothing to install.

The Bedtime Post is registered in the Netherlands — KvK 42092954, BTW-ID NL005491455B30. Contact: stories@thebedtimepost.com.

Who can subscribe

You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of (or otherwise authorised to provide the first name of) the child the stories are for.

Price and billing

€4.99 per month or €49 per year, including VAT where applicable. Billing is handled by Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. Prices may change; we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before any change affects them.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time via the link in every email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month or year you have paid for: stories keep arriving until then and nothing further is charged. If you prefer, you can also choose to stop the emails immediately — your subscription still simply runs out at the end of the paid period. As an EU/UK consumer you additionally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from first purchase: if you cancel within 14 days of subscribing, email stories@thebedtimepost.com and we will refund your first payment in full. By subscribing you consent to delivery beginning immediately.

Your use of the stories

Stories are for your household's personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Read them aloud, print them, keep them, treasure them — but please don't republish or resell them.

Our promises and limits

We work hard to deliver a story every evening, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted delivery (email providers, in particular, are outside our control). If we fail badly and you're unhappy, tell us — we'll put it right or refund the period concerned. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to the service

We may improve or change how the service works (story formats, delivery times, features). If a change is fundamental, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel with a pro-rata refund.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Contact us first at stories@thebedtimepost.com — most things are fixable with an email.
